Catania and Licata are playing against each other at Massimino after more then 30 years.
During the 80s and 90s the two sicilian teams often clashed in Serie C.
Licata, a town of 35,000 people in south of Sicily, near Agrigento, used to have a very strong team which even played in Serie B, coached by Zeman at the beginning of his career.
The last Catania win at home against Licata was in 1991, thanks to a goal of Pippetto Romano, the current Licata's coach that used to play for Catania.
Last October Catania won 2-1 in Licata thanks to Rizzo and De Luca goals (see De Luca's celebration in the picture below).
The game against Licata, currently in 4th position, won't be easy. Lamezia currently 2nd at 12 points from Catania, is playing home against Acireale.
