Second game of the season for Catania FC. Another game at home, this time against AZ Picerno, team representing a small town of 6,000 people in the province of Potenza, in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata.
This is the third time Picerno's Lionesses plays in Catania in Serie C. The first time they lost 1-0 while the second and last time (two years ago, see picture above) they actually won 1-0.
Last year Picerno was in Serie C and arrived 6th with 59 points, a very good result. This year they already played two games, one win against Virtus Francavilla and one draw against Taranto.
The RossAzzurri want to win and doing so forget the first loss of the season against Crotone despite a very good game played. It is expected a full stadium again in front of Mr president Rosario Pelligra.
