The National Serie D title is not going to be in Catania's trophy room as for the second time in Catania's history the RossAzzurri don't even make the semifinals. In fact the lost against Sorrento for 2-0 makes useless the win against Brindisi for 2-1 for the goal difference. It is a bit disappointing of course as it was the first taste of Serie C (we will play agaist both teams next year) however let's not forget what a great season we had, a season that brought back Catania in Serie C in great fashion.
