This Sunday the Rossazzurri are playing away against Sant’Agata in Sant’Agata di Militello, a Sicilian town of 12000 people between Messina and Palermo.
Sant’Agata is currently third, 18 points from Catania and 1 point from Locri, so it is expected a difficult game.
In October Catania won 3-2 at home against Sant'Agata and as the score says it was not an easy one. On that game Rapisarda, Vitale and Jefferson scored for Catania (see picture above).
This is the second time ever that Catania plays in S. Agata di Militello. The only game so far played there it was 29 years ago, in march 1994 when Catania was in Serie E (Eccellenza). That time the score was 2-2 so if Catania wins on Sunday it would be the first time ever in Sant'Agata. In the meantime Locri plays away, in Castrovillari (11th place). Let's hope for another win of the Rossazzurri, a win that would bring us closer and closer to the promotion in Serie C.
Go Elephants go!
